The 62 adults in attendance comprised 34 members and 28 visitors. None of the 11 ladies were visitors. At 82%, this is a far worse Male/Female ratio than normal, for either regular nights or Open Days, and it was really noticeable. So noticeable, that a number of people went home early as a result. We need to keep the ratio of males no higher than 75%, as too high a ratio is intimidating for most women, and will kill the Open Days. Ladies, please think about this before you decide not to come along.

We would like to remind our female members and visitors to attend these events if at all possible. We do have a lot of single males who are not normally able to attend our regular swim nights, and we need to maintain a balance in the genders. Also remember that visting couples and families are welcome at ALL events, not just Open Days.

The last Open Day for 2009 will be on December 12th, two weeks after our last regular night..
